Dr. Veronica Kohl, DACM, MSTOM, L.Ac
Dr. Veronica Kohl is a New York State Licensed and NCCAOM Board certified acupuncturist and herbalist, immersed in the study and practice of Chinese medicine for the past decade. After acquiring her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University, she began the pursuit of her Master’s of Science and eventually Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City in 2014. Since her licensure in 2018, she has worked in both the community and private practice space, treating thousands of individuals seeking relief and care. In addition to her years of training in eastern medicine and acupuncture, Veronica is a 200hr certified yoga instructor which broadens her range of understanding of the human body, as well as the importance of breath work and proper alignment. She is highly skilled in the use of cupping and gua sha therapy, which are powerful musculoskeletal release techniques that allow for increased circulation and optimize overall healing, as well as essential oils, moxibustion and tui na (therapeutic massage). She also incorporates her background in psychology to highlight the essential link between mind and body in the process of discovering well-being. Ultimately her goal is to fine-tune one’s innate ability to hear and understand their own body’s needs in order to make healing an accessible and daily practice for each client.
